I'm so glad to meet you

I'm Ming Lin. I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Meta's Reality Labs, where I focus my time bringing browsers, portals to the internet, to our suite of AR/VR wearable devices.

Some of the internet things I've done in the past:

Kanopy Labs, a small software development and consulting shop co-founded by 3 of the smartest people I know. I was CTO and responsible for scaling our in-house and offshore team of engineering. In a year, we completed 7 figures in projects.

Skinblu, a marketplace connecting traveling artists with local customers and shops to tattoo at. We opened a tattoo shop in Brooklyn, NYC; and transacted $10k across 37 artists, 305 clients, and 3 shops. First engineer on the team, first startup experience, messed up a lot and learned a ton. Serving artist and creatives was super fun!

Wellsheet, health tech startup working to optimize EHR workflow. As a software engineer I focused on optimizing performance of the data-intensive frontend. Doctors are fascinating humans.

Akron's Children's Hospitals, partnered with the pediatric department to develop an interactive educational web app guiding parents of children born with cleft lips through a decades-long plan of care.

I’ve built probably another 100+ things that went nowhere.

But I love to code and learn by building random things.
